Ok, i was asking will you share the defect information to your dev team under these condition.

you have the build that is about to be released but unofficially.

you are performing basic test with that build, but it wont get into records

I would give the defect details to my dev team, but through partially official medium – where i can go back and have a check, preferably a email.

Why?

it is even more challenging to find bugs, where early bugs are eliminated

if you’re lucky, bug fix bought in some more bugs now

at the end of day, your goal is BUG FREE PRODUCT

keep testing.
