long back google already sent out the message that google will stop google gears development and invest that effort in html5.
after google, another player using gears most is zoho, they aee following google route and explore the possibilities with html5, untill the support will be available for their products with gear.
What is html5? Need to explore, will let u know, when i know any.

Facebook too have retweet now, its called ‘via’

Facebook too ambitious to become like twitter, now they have added twitters retweet in facebook as ‘via’. This means facebook will allow other persons status updates,shared content to be reposted with via attribute.
To try it, go to your friends shared item, click share you will see via [friend name] added.
I was wondering how many are retweeting/reposting here in fb? does it matter in anyways?

Product idea: social networks website data – backup possible?

A friend of mine at facebook had her account disabled, i dont really how much she lost with her old account, but very sure to an extent handful of pictures and article sharing. It makes me think at this age we’re taking backup for each and everything, is there a product out there that will take regular backup of certain vital data’s from those websites that has become part of life.
here’s product idea and requirement:
1. This website will fetch all key data’s from your social network websites,emails, etc.
2. These data’s are in backup format to download
3. This website is secured
4. Should not disturb actual business/purpose of those websites.

Life is easier and more fun after you make a few big decisions:
• Who are you? What kind of person and you and do you want to be?

• Do you want to create something that other people will notice and enjoy?
• What’s your dream house and its address?
• Where are you putting energy that’s not leading to happiness?Focus on your best 20 percent
• What are your strongest qualities, emotions, and abilities?
• What parts of yourself are not a true reflection of who you are and who you wish to become? How can you dump these attributes?
• How can you make yourself more you? How do you accentuate what makes you different and valuable?
