Google announced its new programming language callled GO today, initial design of Go started on Septermber 2007.

I dont know if google did proper research before choosing this name for their brand new programming language, because there’s one programming language available already with the name, Frank McCabe, working for calif, based Starview Technologies, it has been released by 2003 even before google started to think about it. He released white paper on it by 2004 and and wrote a book ‘lets go’ in 2007.
In his email to information week, he said he doesnt have trademark for the language but he’s not happy google chose the name.
Its like big guy google gonna run over this little guy, and crush him down.
thats what makes me to think will they have commitment for their mantra ‘Dont be evil’…
